DEGRADATION AND CONTROL PROCESSES |
Degradation process:
Due to uncontrolled dumping.
Description:
Land where residues have been left without any kind of control and where illegal dumping has taken place. Uncontrolled dumping creates heaps of materials (rubbish, urban solid waste, construction waste, etc.) that can cause different types of pollution. When pollution occurs, its origins are often difficult to identify and its effects are therefore often very difficult to correct.
